ACT participates in UNESCO World Press Freedom Day roundtable

The Action Coalition on Meaningful Transparency has co-convened a workshop with UNESCO to celebrate World Press Freedom Day. The workshop was attended by staff from the Global Network Initiative in New York. A write-up from the session is available below. The workshop was formulated around an insightful discussion paper under development exploring the barriers and opportunities presented by greater data sharing between platforms and media organisations, with a view to promoting healthy and diverse information ecosystems and protecting journalist safety.
